The mountain railway station for your skiing or hiking excursions is located directly below the house and can be easily reached on foot or on skis in just a few minutes. You can also reach a doctor's surgery, a chemist and a bakery on foot in just a few minutes. There is also a Spar supermarket in the village and a Coop in Unterwasser (approx. 4km) right next to the Postbus stop.
The Chäserrugg and Säntis viewpoints can be reached by cable car. From Oberdorf (Wildhaus Bergbahnen middle station) you can hike along the Klangweg to Alt St. Johann. There are many easy, medium and difficult hikes in our region.
