Emerald Lakes is a private, resort-style community. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests:

All guests and vehicles must be pre-registered at least 7 days before arrival
We’ll email you the form and submit it on your behalf once completed
🗑️ Trash Access:
A trash facility access card is provided in a clear box next to the door. Please return it before checkout to avoid a $25 replacement fee
Note: Trash center is closed on Mondays
🔥 Safety & Prohibited Items:
-No fireworks, open fires, firearms, off-road vehicles, or excessive noise
-Please secure your trash to be animal-proof
-Driveway can accommodate up to 6 vehicles. All parking must be on the host’s designated parking area

Emerald Lakes supports a healthy, sustainable fishery. Please follow these rules:
Catch & Release only for smallmouth and largemouth bass
You may keep sunfish, perch, crappie, and catfish
All guests 16+ must register at the HOA office for a $5 fishing tag (PA fishing license required)
Fishing tags must be worn at all times while fishing
Violations may result in a
$200.

The Community Center is currently open to residents of the community four days a week. Inside the center, residents can utilize the indoor pool, bar, grill, exercise facility, and bingo area.

Boating & Fishing
The Emerald Lakes hold some great fishing opportunities for members and guests. Many types of fish are found in the lakes to include pickerel, carp, bluegill, crappie and panfish. However, the most popular is the bass. The lakes are stocked each year with bass and are a catch and release only. Everyone is required to obtain the appropriate Pennsylvania State license to fish the lakes.
Each of the lakes contains a boat launch area along with the boat racks which can be rented for the season for a fee. All boats used on the lakes must first be registered with the administrative office for a $10 one time fee. Boats are restricted to electric motors only.
Community Center
SEE HOURS OF OPERATIONOur all-purpose community center is the focal point of our amenities. This facility offers a heated indoor pool, full service grill with dining area, bar, exercise facility, game/arcade room, and locker rooms complete with saunas and showers. Outside the community center, there are additional facilities which include children’s play structure, basketball court and tennis court. The center is open year-round offering recreation activities and events and hosts Bingo.

Indoor Pool
The indoor pool is open Friday, Saturday and Sundays for the residents of the Emerald Lakes Community. Members must present a valid ELA ID badge upon entrance to the Community Center to gain access to the facility.

Main Beach
This beach area is located on East Emerald Lake off Sage Road. You will find a groomed beach area with roped-off swimming in the lake. The facility also includes a restroom building, children’s play structure, picnic tables and boat racks with a launch area.

Nature
If you love the outdoors, this is where you want to be. Not only do we have the six lakes, but we also have plenty of wildlife and interesting plants and wildflowers. Enjoy the spring blossoms and flowers, the early summer mountain laurel blooming or the mid summer rhododendron. Our community is filled with wildlife such as deer, bear, fox, beaver and raccoons. These critters will give you plenty of great photo opportunities if you are patient. Make sure you take advantage of the natural splendor and sounds of the birds chirping.
Outdoor Pool
Located on Cedar Drive, our 2,500 square foot, 100,000 gallon pool is a popular attraction in the summer. The water is heated and guaranteed fun for the family. There is a restroom building, and picnic tables as well.

Pine Tree Island Park
This facility offers a beautiful relaxing setting. Surrounded by Pine Tree Lake, the park offers a groomed beach with roped-off swimming area, beach volleyball court, children’s play structure, restroom building, boat racks and picnic area. There is also plenty of area on the island to do some fishing.

Recreation
The Emerald Lakes Association also contains other recreation amenities which include outdoor tennis courts located next to the outdoor pool. There is a basketball court and baseball field on Glade Drive next to the administration building.

Our standard clean includes two professional cleaners for 4 hours. Want it extra sparkling? Request a deep clean upgrade for $300 with at least 3 days’ notice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EMERALD LAKES VISITORS & RENTERS ON FISHING IN EMERALD LAKES
Emerald Lakes is committed to keeping our lakes healthy and fun for our residents and visitors to fish in. The Emerald Lakes Board and Administration spend a lot of time and money to keep our lakes safe and enjoyable. To that end, please obey the following:• Emerald Lakes is Catch and Release Only for Small mouth and Largemouth bass. You can keep sunfish, crappies, perch and catfish if you want, but please return any bass to the lake immediately. Ice fishing is limited to a total of two tip ups and one rod per person. The tip ups must be no more than twenty-five feet from where the fishermen is sitting.
• Everyone over the age of 16 needs to register with the ELA Office and obtain a vehicle tag (if needed) and a fishing tag when fishing on our lakes. Cost is $5.00. You must bring with you your PA Fishing License in order to register. You can obtain tags at the ELA office on 1112 Glade Drive from Monday through Saturday from to 8:00 to 4:00pm.
• You must wear your Emerald Lakes fishing tag at all times when fishing on our lakes.
• We will have Fishing Patrol members on the lakes to check for ELA fishing tags. If you do not have one, you will be asked to leave, and get a fishing tag from the Administration Office. If you fail to comply, Emerald Lakes security will be called to enforce our rules.
• Failure to abide by the Catch and Release or Fishing Tag requirements will result in the violator being fined $200 for each violation. All amenity privileges will be revoked until the fine/s are reconciled. Call the homeowner, landlord or Administration Office for advice.
