These friendly guidelines help ensure everyone has a wonderful stay while respecting our neighbors and maintaining our home. 👥 OCCUPANCY & GUESTS Maximum 5 guests (strictly enforced for safety, comfort, insurance policy & local ordinances) Rate includes up to 4 guests; 5th guest fee applies nightly Please register all guests with us - no surprise overnight visitors Everyone's safety matters to us! 🤫 QUIET HOURS & NEIGHBORS Quiet time: 10 PM - 8 AM daily No loud music or parties anytime (our neighbors are wonderful!) Fireworks/explosives prohibited Local noise ordinances apply 🚭 SMOKING & SUBSTANCES No smoking indoors (this includes vaping/e-cigarettes) Smoking outdoors only - ashtrays provided on porch & patio No illegal substances permitted 👟 NO OUTSIDE SHOES INSIDE THE CABIN We encourage our "kick off your shoes and relax" policy. Please leave outside shoes at the door to keep the cabin fresh and clean. We provide house slippers and outdoor slippers, but feel free to bring your favorites! 🐕 FURRY FRIENDS WELCOME! (Pet fee applies) Pre-approval required - just ask us! House-trained & supervised pets only Clean up immediately (inside & out) Keep pets off furniture/beds & vacuum any hair NO pet bathing in the cabin See our Pet Policy for complete details 🪜 LOFT SAFETY - IMPORTANT! Stairs are very steep - ALWAYS use handrails and go slowly! Children must have adult supervision AT ALL TIMES Use at your own risk - we care about your safety 🍽️ KITCHEN & DINING No food down drains (no garbage disposal) Wash dishes & leave on rack to air dry (no dishwasher) Clean appliances after use Avoid excessive oils/strong-smelling foods (smoke alarms!) Dispose of trash properly 🚗 PARKING (Max 3 vehicles including boats) Park in designated areas only: long driveway & under carport No parking on grass RV/trailer parking requires approval (no hookups available) No EV charging from house electricity (boats OK) 🌡️ HVAC COMFORT GUIDELINES Temperature Settings: AC: Don't go below 68°F Heat: Don't exceed 78°F For best results: Keep doors/windows closed when system running Close blinds during hot days Turn up/down when leaving 4+ hours Use ceiling fans for extra comfort & efficiency Be patient - system needs time to reach desired temp Extreme settings can damage equipment - repair costs may apply 🔥 OUTDOOR AMENITIES Fire Pit & Grill: Adult supervision required Check weather for outdoor plans Fully extinguish fire pit when done Turn off both grill AND propane tank completely Clean grill including bottom trays & empty fire pit ashes (supplies under carport) Empty & clean ashtrays if used 📶 WIFI & TECHNOLOGY Smart TV instructions provided Report connectivity issues promptly No illegal downloading/streaming Don't disable WiFi Front door security camera (not monitored) 💧 WATER USAGE No above-ground or kiddie pools No washing of boat or any other vehicle Please be mindful of water usage Excessive use may result in additional charges 🚨 SAFETY FIRST Emergency contacts in house manual First aid kit: kitchen drawer Fire extinguishers: kitchen (behind loft stairs), on fridge, & in loft Never disable smoke detectors Read Fire Safety Guide upon arrival Emergencies: 911 🚫 NOT PERMITTED No hair dyeing/coloring Septic System: Toilet paper only - no other items down the toilet No glitter or small craft materials that are difficult to clean up. 🧹 EASY CHECK-OUT Leave bed linens on beds (we'll handle washing) Place used towels on bathroom floor Empty refrigerator completely & dispose of all food (check kitchen cabinets) Remove all personal items from cabinets/drawers/washer&dryer BBQ Grill & Fire Pit: If used, clean grill completely incuding bottom trays and empty ashes (tools in box under carport) Ashtrays: if used, empty & wipe Pets: Vacuum excess hair, check yard for waste Lights/TV: Turn off all lights (check hallway switches) & TVs HVAC: Bedroom unit off, Main unit: 78/auto (hot weather) or 68/auto (cold weather) Gather all trash → place in grey box under carport. Keep aluminum cans recycling separate Light tidying appreciated (cleaning fee covers deep clean of inside of the cabin) Respect checkout time Lock up (don’t forget to check back door) ⚠️ Important Note Following these guidelines ensures everyone's safety and enjoyment. Violations may result in removal without refund, additional fees, or removal from future booking eligibility. If the property isn't left in satisfactory condition, associated costs will be the guest's responsibility. We document the property before and after each stay to ensure everything runs smoothly.   Guest & Pet Policy: Please ensure your reservation accurately reflects the total number of guests, including babies and pets. If booking through a platform that limits pet selection, just send us a quick message with your pet details - we're happy to help! Security Notice: For everyone's peace of mind, we have a security camera (not monitored) at front entrance area. Transparent Pricing: - Base nightly rate as displayed on booking page - Professional cleaning fee: $125 per stay - 5th guest fee: $45 per night (if sleeper sofa used) - Management fee: $29 per stay Our cancellation policy applies to all bookings, and if you're eligible for a refund, there's a 5% processing fee to cover credit card charges.

  Your ViP cabin includes free parking on the property. There is a carport where you may park your vehicle, RV (no slide outs) or boat. No EV charging (boats okay). Since the location is remote and by the lake, you will need a car to get around.
