The hamlet of Gazzane is located just 2 km from Salò, a charming historical and cultural center on the west coast of Lake Garda. Salò, along with seven other municipalities on the western coast, forms the Riviera dei Limoni (Limoni Riviera). Salò is not only a wonderful town to explore and enjoy, but also offers several lakeside beaches and is a ferry stop, allowing guests to easily explore the rest of Lake Garda. The area also offers sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, horseback riding, and golf.
Salò has supermarkets and small shops, as well as a weekly market (Saturday morning), which is an excellent place to spend some time sampling the finest local produce.
Art and history lovers can visit the famous "Vittoriale degli Italiani," home of Gabriele D'Annunzio in Gardone Riviera (2 km), and the new "MUSA" museum in Salò (500 meters).
