About this property

 The Duke Cabin is a Luxury Western Cabin in Arizona's premier National Forest recreation area, Forest Lakes. The cabin is large with 3 floors with bedrooms, a dramatic 25-foot window wall with forest views out every window and and is located in Arizona's most coveted getaway community. 

A Bullfrog Brand HOT TUB was added in Nov 2025!

The main floor has The Duke's room with a comfortable king bed, a bathroom with a shower, the well appointed chef's kitchen including a 36-inch gas range-top, double ovens, combination convection oven/air fryer/microwave and dishwasher, a coffee bar, a big round table for gathering, a two-story stone wood burning fireplace and a living space with a smart tv, sofa, and rocker recliner. 


Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms; one bedroom with two comfortable queen beds, a nightstand and a chest and and one bedroom with 1 comfortable queen bed, two night stands and dresser, and a shared full bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi bathtub. There is also a large loft with a sectional sofa-sleeper, and a 65-inch Smart TV with Bluetooth surround sound.

The basement has a recreation room with a foosball table, a card/game table and tons of board-games, cards and puzzles, a half bathroom plus a bedroom with a stone fireplace, a queen bed and a single bed, chest and nightstand.

Unwind on the big wraparound deck to the fresh aroma of the towering Ponderosa Pine forest. There's a BBQ grill and outdoor living and dining space on the deck too! A big swing on the covered porch is a great place for a morning cup of fresh brewed Duke's Cowboy coffee! Relax in the Bullfrog Hot Tub under the deck!

There's plenty of space for outdoor games, a campfire pit and cable picket lines for dogs to run. 

Forest Lakes is an island surrounded by the Sitgreaves National Forest and is home to the world's largest stand of Ponderosa Pine Trees. It sits atop the Mogollon Rim at 7,700 feet elevation. Residents enjoy the best summer weather in the world with average temps in the mid 70's and it is only a scenic two hour drive from most parts of the Phoenix Valley and some of the worst summer weather in the world! There is 4 seasons here and all times of year are good to visit. There's plenty of snow in winter and a sledding hill on the property!  

Nearby lakes and streams teaming with fish are just minutes away! The area is home to very diverse wildlife with deer, elk and wild horses among the frequent visitors to the community.
