As part of a small condominium, with a shared swimming pool, this charming duplex apartment makes an ideal base for a holiday in the heart of Tuscany.
The apartment, which sleeps up to 5 people, is contemporary but includes many authentic Tuscan touches. The front door opens into a spacious, double height, open plan living area. Modern stairs lead up to the mezzanine seating area, where guests can relax on the sofa and watch the flat-screen TV. On the lower level there is another comfortable sofa, and an open kitchen, which is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a Nespresso machine. The dining area is in the corner of the ground floor with double aspect French windows. One of these opens onto a small balcony. The table seats 5 people and there is a second flat-screen TV. This entire area is air-conditioned.
Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed, a flat-screen TV, an air conditioner, a large wardrobe and large windows with lovely views out over the garden.
Bedroom 2: The airy, second bedroom has a single bed, an air conditioner and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa on the mezzanine floor converts into a small double bed.
Bathroom
An independent bathroom which is equipped with a shower, basin, bidet and W.C.

The condominium swimming pool, is open from July 15 to August 31 from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. There are also 2 deckchairs available for guests’ use.
Location
The apartment is ideally situated to explore some of the jewels of Tuscany. It is on the edge of the small town of Radicondoli which is an exquisite Medieval village, famous for its olive oil. Here you can find several good restaurants serving regional cuisine.
The historic city of Siena (45 minutes) is home to the famous Palio di Siena which takes place annually on July 2nd and August 16th. During the rest of the year, visitors can enjoy the city’s famous cathedral and the museums around the famous Piazza del Campo.
The beautiful town of San Gimignano, famous for its many Medieval towers, is 45 minutes from the apartment. Slightly further (1 hour 20 minutes) is Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance”, home to some of the world’s finest art galleries and museums.
The closest airports are Florence, 1 hour and 10 minute drive, or Pisa which is 1 hour and 50 minutes away.
