Log cabin located within an area of four separate cabins next to the Porttikallio cross-country skiing center. A 2.5 km "Mummolatu" trail circles the cabin area and connects to the Porttikallio trail network. The ski center offers snowmaking for the trails when needed, a lit trail, and biathlon shooting targets. There is a grill shelter available for all guests (200 m away) and an observation tower along a guided nature trail with a "fire shelter" 600 m away (firewood available at the cabin).
170 km northwest of Helsinki. Dry land log cabin built in 2011, with a combined kitchen/living room, one bedroom with two beds, a bathroom with a shower and eco toilet, and an infrared sauna (with versatile settings and radio). There is a loft with a sloping ceiling (highest point 155 cm) that includes three mattresses.
