Location
The villa is just a 7-minute drive from Marinella Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia. Surfboards, canoes and dinghies can be rented at Marinella, so it is an ideal beach for families looking for active fun. The nearby resort of Porto Rotondo (6 minutes) is blessed with many excellent restaurants, boutiques and a lively marina for boat-spotting and evening walks. From June to August the town hosts “Porto Rotondo in Fiera,” a delightful street market that takes place every Wednesday morning.
Alternatively, in Olbia (20 minutes), you can explore vibrant farmers' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended. (15 minutes). Olbia also offers plenty of options for entertainment and some lively cafés in the Piazza Matteotti.
Olbia airport is just a 20-minute drive. The port in Golfo Aranci (15 minutes) has a ferry service to Livorno in Tuscany.
