98 km northwest of Jyväskylä, Lake Valkeinen is 35 m away (approximately 1 km long and 150 m wide), featuring a shallow sandy bottom that deepens gently, a pier, and a private rowing boat.
A well-equipped two-story log cabin built in 2025 with an air-source heat pump. It includes an entrance hall, combined kitchen/living room, living area, toilet/shower room, and a sauna with an electric stove.
The ground floor has a bedroom with two beds. The loft has two beds.
The lakeside sauna loft has a double bed measuring 140x200 cm for two people (available from May 1 to September 30).
The sofa in the living room of the main cottage is also extendable (135 x 200 cm), so it can accommodate 6 people when the lakeside sauna is not available (October-April).
The lakeside sauna includes a room with an air-source heat pump, a dining set, a sofa, a fireplace, and a loft with a double bed (140x200 cm). The sauna has a wood-heated stove and a shower. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower in the yard with cold water, heated by the sun through the water pipe.
On the terrace, there is a wood-heated hot tub available for booking directly with the owner at €90 for 2 days, with additional days at €14 per day (prices as of Julu 2026). Guests heat the hot tub themselves. The temperature limit is -15°C.
In winter 2026, an ice hole will be available for guests. If the temperature drops below -18°C, the ice hole will not be available.
An electric car charging point is also available for rent. Arrangements are made directly with the owner.
The yard features a charming log-built grill shelter with a grill.
