Villa Saaruli is a warm and welcoming kelo-log cabin situated in East Ruka, right by the ski slopes and ski trails.
Villa Saaruli was built from massive logs in 2000. The villa itself is magnificent, as well as the location is perfect. You can easily access the ski lifts, ski and snowmobile trails right from your own yard, making it an excellent choice for travelers without a car. The nearest ski lifts (Vuosseli Express and Kulmahissi) are within 100 m walking distance, as well as a year-round operating gondola lift that takes you over the fell to Ruka village. Several high-quality restaurants and a small K-market are also within walking distance.
Villa Saaruli provides excellent amenities for a winter holiday. The cabin's cozy interior was mostly renovated in 2023. The open space on two floors includes kitchen, dining area, and seating area around the natural stone fireplace. The cabin has four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with two single beds (located on the upper floor). Ground floor contains a sauna area and a separate WC, and there is a small WC on the upper floor as well. In a separate utility room, there's washing machine and drying cabinet. On the slope side of the cabin, there's a terrace that covers the entire length of the building. Sunlight reaches the terrace until late in the afternoon. Guests arriving at Villa Saaruli can enjoy hotel-style beds and towels. Final cleaning and electricity are included in the rent.
