Check-in is keyless. Personalized door codes are provided prior to check-in.
Cabin will be available and door code active from 4:00pm on day of check in to 10:00am on day of check out.
Early check in and late check out are unavailable.
I do live in the area and typically drive by or near all the cabins daily. I give my guests space but am available when needed.
Southern Hills is off the main entrance into Beavers Bend/Broken Bow Lake. The cabin is accessible by any vehicle.
There are some steep terrains that lead to amazing views. The rural area leaves most neighborhoods with rural roads that are rougher than city roads. Each cabin sits on at least 1 acre. All lots are open with no fencing.
Bug Spray is highly recommended during warmer months. If hiking, long socks & proper boots are recommended. Beware of poison ivy & oak in the woods.
Ouachita National Forest: We are located at the edge of Ouachita National Forest. There are many variants of wildlife throughout the forest and surrounding areas. This includes many variants of bugs, snakes, and prediators as well. Please keep all doors and windows closed when not in use.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance from Airbnb for unforeseeable events that will result in you being unable to go on your vacation. Purchasing travel insurance is the responsibility of the person making the reservation.
Southern Hills is located on the south side of Hochatown right off the main entrance into Beavers Bend Park. Heavily treed with inclines and declines, Southern Hills is wonderful for the avid walker or jogger.
Please note, internet is provided, however, Kowi Properties and private owner are not responsible for slower speeds or outages.
ATV's and other type vehicles are not permitted to use throughout neighborhood per HOA rules.

Heated Pool Coming August 2025!
Pool heating will be available as an additional add-on October through April for an additional $125 per day. This add-on will be available in your personal guest portal after a reservation is made.
Pool heating, if added-on will be for the duration of the reservation and must be added at least 24 hours prior to check-in to allow for the pool to be properly heated for your arrival. While we aim to maintain the water temperature between 80–83°F, please note that we cannot guarantee a specific temperature, especially during periods of extreme cold or deep freezes, typically in December through February, which may affect the pool’s heating capability.
Pool Maintenance:
The pool is professionally cleaned twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. These scheduled cleans are set and are not movable.
A Note About Nature:
As the property is nestled in a beautiful forested setting, it’s natural for leaves and other elements of nature to occasionally find their way into the pool. A pool skimmer net is provided for your convenience.
