Mark your calendar for the 32nd Annual Angel Lake Kids Fishing Derby happening on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Angel Lake in Wells, Nevada. Designed for young anglers aged 4 to 15 and their families, this exciting event invites you to experience the joy of fishing for trout in a stunning natural setting. Whether you are a fishing pro or just starting, this derby promises fun and education for everyone.

What to Expect on Derby Day?
Kickstart your adventure with registration at 7:30 AM followed by a helpful orientation at 8:15 AM. Take your place along the shore as shoreline fishing and educational stations open at 8:30 AM. At these stations, you will learn essential fishing techniques and important conservation practices that will enhance your skills. Get ready to celebrate at noon when awards and prize drawings commence, highlighting the day’s achievements and giving everyone something to look forward to.

Important Information for Participants
Remember, if you are aged 12 or older, you will need a fishing license to participate. Be sure to pack your fishing pole and bait to ensure a successful day on the water. With clear instructions and friendly guidance, you’ll be well-prepared for an enjoyable fishing experience.
