What is the 2025 Summer Fishing Tournament?
Get ready for an exciting day at the 2025 Summer Fishing Tournament on Saturday, July 12, 2025. This thrilling event takes place at the stunning Muskeg Bay on Lake of the Woods, nestled near Warroad, Minnesota. Open to anglers aged 18 and over, each team comprises two members ready to showcase their fishing expertise. With only 125 teams allowed, it’s essential to secure your spot with the $300 entry fee. Should Mother Nature throw a curveball, we have Sunday, July 13, reserved as an alternate date.

How Do You Compete in the Tournament?
Participants will engage in friendly competition by catching and measuring their five longest walleye. The team with the greatest total length will earn the title of champion. Additionally, there’s an optional contest for the largest walleye, which must be included in your team’s five-fish stringer. With cash prizes for the top 12 teams, the first-place team stands to win a fantastic $5,100, making this event both thrilling and rewarding.

When and Where Are the Awards Presented?
After a day of fishing fun, join us at the Lake of the Woods Brewery for the awards ceremony. Kicking off with a social hour at 5 p.m., the awards will be presented at 6 p.m., celebrating the hard work and skill of all participants. This is a perfect opportunity to share stories, enjoy great company, and unwind after a competitive day on the water.
