National artists exhibit beneath Rehoboth’s summer trees
More than one hundred artists and artisans display original work across two August weekends at the wooded Rehoboth Art League campus.
Event details
The Rehoboth Art League’s wooded campus turns into an open-air gallery for two separate weekends each August, drawing more than one hundred juried artists and craftspeople from across the country. Now in its 53rd year, the show has the settled confidence of an event that doesn’t need to prove itself, work is judged for quality rather than novelty, and the roster reflects it season after season.
The setting matters as much as the art. Shaded paths wind between display tents, live music plays through the afternoon, and food vendors give the show the unhurried feel of a garden party rather than a market, a rare combination for an event of this scale and reputation among juried craft shows.
Admission is free, which makes the show an easy addition to a longer Rehoboth Beach weekend. Gallery browsing pairs naturally with boardwalk dinners and a walk or ride along the Junction and Breakwater Trail, giving visitors a full day that moves between art, food, and the outdoors without much planning required.
