If you missed the first weekend, the Maple Syrup Festival returns for a second round of sugaring-season fun at Cunningham Falls State Park. Rangers and volunteers demonstrate the traditional boil on the hour, every hour, and the festival grounds hum with bluegrass, kid-friendly games, and that unmistakable maple aroma.
Build your day around the pancake breakfast, then explore nearby trails through hemlock forest to Cunningham Falls or take an easy loop around Hunting Creek Lake for classic springtime views.
