ABC Kite Fest is a spring excuse to get outside in Austin’s Zilker Park beside Lady Bird Lake. The sky fills with color as giant show kites and home-built creations lift off over open lawns. Afterward, rent a paddleboard, walk the lakeside trail, or spread a blanket for a classic park day.
