Winter prix-fixe dining week across Asheville restaurants
Enjoy special prix-fixe menus across Asheville’s restaurants during January Restaurant Week—perfect for planning a long weekend of food, beer, and art.
Event details
Asheville Restaurant Week returns January 20-26 with prix-fixe menus and special pricing at more than 40 restaurants, from South Slope brewpubs to Pack Square fine dining.
Participating spots include Posana (founded 2009, offering a $50 three-course menu with shrimp and grits and tahini tiramisu), Gemelli in West Asheville ($40 for house-made pastas and burrata alla vodka), and Pack’s Tavern downtown ($32 for dine-in dinners).
Reservations book fast at popular venues, so secure tables within the first 48 hours of the event announcement or target weeknight dining when availability opens up. Each restaurant crafts a custom menu highlighting seasonal ingredients and chef specialties, with some offering discounts on regular menu items rather than prix-fixe structures.
The week celebrates Asheville’s farm-to-table culture with dishes sourced from Western North Carolina growers and producers, showcasing ingredients at their winter peak. Some restaurants extend offerings to brunch or lunch service, while others focus exclusively on dinner hours starting at 4 PM. Tax, gratuity, and beverages remain separate from prix-fixe pricing (though select venues include wine pairings), so budget accordingly and tip generously for the intensive service demands. Walk-ins work at casual spots, but flagship restaurants require advance OpenTable bookings.
