Cackle Hatchery Annual Chicken Festival is a free, family-friendly event that’s been happening for more than a decade now. There’s a little something for everyone. Family activities include hatchery tours, crowing contest, duck races, horse-drawn rides, costume contest, and poultry showcase. If you like what you see, you can even take an animal home with you through Cackle Hatchery’s grown fowl silent auction. Vendors are also on site.
