Fast-paced 3-on-3 hockey weekend for youth teams
Catch the energy of youth hockey at Clearview’s 3-on-3 tournament—three days of quick games, community spirit, and an easy spring weekend getaway.
Event details
You can watch fast-paced spring hockey at its finest when Clearview Township hosts this energetic youth tournament April 3 through 5, 2026 at Stayner Community Centre and Creemore Community Centre.
The event draws competitive and recreational teams from across Ontario in seven divisions, from Under 10 to Under 18, including brand-new girls-only divisions for Under 12 and Under 14 players. All 48 participating teams compete for $7,000 in prizes, trophies, and draws, with each team guaranteed at least three games of high-energy 3-on-3 action.
Admission is completely free for spectators all weekend long, and a vendor market at Stayner Arena on Saturday and Sunday offers local products while you watch the games. Teams use a player rating system (maximum 100 points per team) to keep matchups competitive and exciting, which means you will see incredible skill on display regardless of which game you catch.
Arrive early on Friday evening to snag the best bleacher seats, and plan to stay for at least two games to appreciate the different age groups and playing styles.Between games, you are minutes from Creemore village, where you can warm up at The Old Mill House Pub, serving home-cooked meals since 1927 in a historic mill building.
For fine dining, The Pine, which opened in 2018 and earned Michelin recognition, offers an Asian-inspired tasting menu ($185) in a converted gas station that has become one of Canada’s most talked-about restaurants. If you are craving French bistro fare, Chez Michel serves classic French country cuisine in a century-old building with a charming Provence-inspired dining room. Creemore sits 20 minutes from Wasaga Beach, the world’s longest freshwater beach, and 40 minutes from Barrie’s Lake Simcoe waterfront, making this tournament an excellent anchor for a Georgian Bay weekend.
Browse Lake.com for cottage rentals near Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, or along Georgian Bay’s southern shore, where you will find family-friendly properties with hot tubs, docks, and easy access to both the tournament venues and the water. Free parking is available at both arenas, and the Clearview Youth Centre operates concessions at Stayner Arena throughout the weekend.
