Event details
Experience the magic of the Gatlinburg Festival of Trees, a cherished holiday tradition that transforms the W.L. Mills Conference Center into a winter wonderland from November 25 to November 30, 2026. Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this festive event is perfect for families, couples, pet lovers, and friends seeking to create lasting memories together. As you step into the venue, you’ll be greeted by a forest of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each one reflecting the creativity and spirit of local artisans and businesses. The atmosphere is filled with the scent of pine and cinnamon, the sparkle of twinkling lights, and the sounds of holiday music, inviting you to immerse yourself in the festive cheer.
The festival kicks off on Tuesday, November 25, with a special Candy Canes and Cocktails Reception, setting the stage for the days ahead. From Wednesday through Saturday, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering ample time to explore the displays. In addition to the stunning trees, families can enjoy a children’s craft and play area, and have the opportunity to capture photos with Santa Claus on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to attend, with donations supporting the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation, organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of local youth.
Whether you’re looking to share a quiet moment with a loved one in a scenic corner, enjoy the festive atmosphere with your children, or gather with friends to celebrate the season, the Gatlinburg Festival of Trees offers something for everyone. The event’s community spirit and natural beauty make it a memorable experience that captures the essence of togetherness and the simple joys of lakeside living.
