From Thursday, July 2nd to Sunday, July 5th, 2026, the historic town of Lead, South Dakota, will come alive with the vibrant Gold Camp Jubilee. This annual festival honors Lead’s rich mining heritage and the close-knit community spirit that defines this charming town. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Black Hills, the event offers a perfect blend of history, music, and family-friendly activities.

The festivities kick off on Thursday with a Pickleball Tournament and the 2nd Annual Gold Rush Cruisin’ Classics Car Show & Parade, featuring a parade through Lead’s Main Street and a car show at the Visitor Center lot. Friday brings a Skateboard Clinic, a Pickleball Tournament, and the Mile High Smackdown Volleyball Tournament. Saturday’s highlights include a Pancake Feed, Horseshoe Tournament, and the Live Like Cash: Skate, Scoot & Bike Competition at Manuel Brothers Skate Park. The day culminates with a B-1 Flyover, a community dinner, and the highly anticipated fireworks show over the Open Cut. Sunday wraps up the celebration with a baseball game between Lead and Deadwood, and a community potluck at Mountain Top Field.
