A waterfront day of music at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park
Spend Memorial Day weekend at Greenwich’s waterfront music party, with big-name acts, food and drink, and a long, sunlit setlist by the Sound.
Event details
The Greenwich Town Party turns Roger Sherman Baldwin Park into a waterfront concert venue for one full day of live music on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. You are right on Greenwich Harbor with open views toward Long Island Sound, so plan on a sea breeze and a long stretch outdoors. Multiple stages keep the schedule moving and the crowd is truly mixed, from families with young kids to longtime residents.
In 2026, you can catch Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, John Fogerty, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The side stage adds a family-focused set with Elmo’s Got the Moves, giving kids a place to stay engaged without missing the main event. Food and drink come from local vendors, and the gates run from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Tickets are limited to the Greenwich community, and you will need proof of residency or local employment to participate. The lottery typically opens in February and closes in March, adult tickets are $100, and demand exceeds the 6,000-person capacity. Every person needs a ticket, including infants; kids ages 2 to 12 are $20, and under 2 is free but still requires a lottery-requested ticket.
Arrive by mid-morning to claim space for low-backed lawn chairs, and consider packing a picnic since glass containers, umbrellas, tents, and pets are prohibited. Use the free TAG shuttle from lots such as Horseneck or Greenwich Town Hall to avoid tight parking near the park. It is rain or shine, so we recommend a light layer and a plan for wet weather. If you are staying overnight nearby, look at hotels in Greenwich or Stamford, or book a quiet home rental through Lake.com for the holiday weekend.
