The venue experience
Why Shugrue’s works so well for this night
Shugrue’s Restaurant at 1425 McCulloch Boulevard North has been a Lake Havasu waterfront staple since 1988. The Bridgeview Room overlooks the Bridgewater Channel and the London Bridge, giving the evening a special sense of place.
What your ticket includes
Your dinner ticket covers your meal, so the focus stays on the recognition, the storytelling, and the cause.
More community names you may hear celebrated
Women like Pat Austin (local artist and Hav-A-Sis secretary), Tamara Heiner (Romano’s Italian Restaurant general manager), and Kelly Channel, known for consistently donating gift baskets to nonprofit raffles.

Tickets typically go on sale several weeks in advance through Hav-A-Sis.

Where the money goes
Proceeds support local charities and community causes, including veterans and children at risk of hunger. A past fundraiser raised $26,218 for ECHO Group/Band of Brothers Arizona.
Easy logistics for a smooth night
Arrive a bit early
Parking tends to fill after 4:00 PM. Aim to arrive about 30 minutes early and park along McCulloch Boulevard or in the English Village lots.
Dress code
Cocktail attire is the norm.
- Women: dressy separates or cocktail dresses
- Men: slacks and a button-down
Turn it into a weekend
Right outside the door
The English Village location puts you steps from the Bridgewater Channel’s boat docks, making it easy to build a full February itinerary around the evening.
On-the-water add-ons
Morning kayak rentals, pontoon tours, and scenic rides through the channel beneath the London Bridge arches are popular. If you’re arriving by boat, Shugrue’s has its own dock for boat-in dining.
