On Saturday & Sunday, August 30–31, 2025, the Illinois Railway Museum in Union offers “Night Trains”: illuminated steam and diesel excursions at 7 PM & 9 PM. The “Trains & Tunes” concert features local Americana and bluegrass bands on the platform. Pullman car tours and dining cars serve snacks and beverages. Family-friendly flashlight tours of the yard run hourly.
