The Flaming Lips Close Out Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's 60th Season at the Base of the Tetons
The Rendezvous Music Festival at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Teton Village runs March 27-28, 2026, with a free Souls of Mischief concert Friday beneath the Tram and Saturday headliners The Flaming Lips and Umphrey’s McGee with DJ Blake Horstmann, GA tickets $41, children under 12 free with an adult ticket, and 50 per cent off lift tickets through March 29.
Event details
The Rendezvous Music Festival returns to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on March 27 and 28, 2026, marking the celebratory close of the resort’s 60th ski season with a two-day programme that pairs the Teton Range’s late-winter grandeur with a headline lineup of uncommon calibre. The Friday evening begins with a free Souls of Mischief concert beneath the Aerial Tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, capping the season-long Road to Rendezvous concert series and setting the tone for a weekend whose principal event follows on Saturday. Saturday gates open at 3 PM in the Base Village Parking Lot in Teton Village, with music beginning at 4 PM. General admission tickets are $41 on a first-come, first-served basis; VIP tickets provide an elevated lounge with close-range stage access, heated seating, and expedited entry through a dedicated lane. Friday’s pre-festival concert is free.
The 2026 Lineup at the Base of the Tetons
The Flaming Lips headline Saturday, bringing three Grammy Awards, a Tony nomination, and a production reputation that The Times of London once described in terms that have followed the band ever since. Their shows at Rendezvous will deliver the immersive, psychedelic spectacle that defines their live experience: enormous balloons, confetti, and a musical catalogue spanning three decades of boundary-pushing alternative rock, performed against the backdrop of a snow-covered Teton face at elevation. Umphrey’s McGee, whose improvisational mastery and genre-bending live sets have built one of American jam music’s most dedicated touring audiences, supports. DJ Blake Horstmann opens the Saturday programme.
Good to Know: Children attend free for the first time in 2026: two children under 12 accompany each GA ticket holder, and one child under 5 accompanies each VIP ticket. START Bus service between downtown Jackson and Teton Village is free from noon on Saturday to ease the capacity pressure that Teton Village’s limited parking reliably creates on festival day. The resort offers 50 per cent off lift tickets March 27-29 for Rendezvous attendees, making the weekend a genuine spring skiing and music combination rather than a festival with incidental mountain access. Parking in Teton Village is described by the resort as very limited; plan transportation accordingly.
Jackson Hole Beyond the Stage
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s 4,139 acres and 10,450-foot summit elevation place it among the American West’s premier destination ski resorts, and the late-March spring skiing that surrounds the festival weekend provides the soft corn snow and extended daylight that experienced skiers seek specifically for the season’s final weeks. The National Elk Refuge, visible from the Town Square in downtown Jackson, hosts the largest elk herd in North America through the winter months, with sleigh ride access through the refuge providing one of the more distinctive family wildlife experiences available adjacent to any American ski resort. Lake.com lists vacation rental options across the Jackson Hole and Teton Valley corridor for visitors building a full Rendezvous weekend stay in the shadow of the Tetons.
