You and your team of two to four will run high-intensity lights after sunset, scanning quiet shorelines and shallow flats for fast shots and clean retrieves. Captain’s Choice means you call the game plan, from route selection to timing, across Kentucky Lake and the Tennessee River system.
Check-in begins at 7:00 PM, with fishing running from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Your primary targets are rough fish including Asian carp, silver carp, and buffalo. As the night progresses, you will see other lighted boats working their lanes across the water, adding a focused, tournament-grade rhythm to the lake.
Plan to arrive early so you can prep gear and connect with other crews before launch. Entry is $100 per boat, and your boat must carry required safety equipment, including running lights and life jackets. Dress in layers, bring insect repellent, and confirm every person on board has a valid fishing license.
