Keosauqua’s annual 4th of July celebration takes place Saturday, July 4, 2026, at City Park along the Des Moines River, with kids’ games, a pedal pull competition, a street dance, and raffle drawings filling the daylight hours before one of southeast Iowa’s most celebrated fireworks displays launches over the water after dark.

The street dance carries the evening before fireworks close the night over the river.
