A St. Patrick’s geocache quest on Lake Sakakawea
St. Patrick’s Day geocache hunt at Fort Stevenson State Park, with puzzle stops that guide families to a leprechaun’s pot of gold.
Event details
Fort Stevenson State Park turns St. Patrick’s Day into an outdoor puzzle adventure with Leprechaun’s Gold Geocache. Set above the big water of Lake Sakakawea, the multi-cache sends families searching for clue after clue, from trail-side hides to brain-teaser waypoints.
Bring a GPS-enabled phone, a sense of humor, and layers for North Dakota’s changeable spring weather. The hunt runs all day, so you can pace it with snack breaks, shoreline views, and a quick detour to the marina. A park vehicle permit is required for entry.
