Event details
Parker Dam State Park is a shoulder-season favorite: a small lake, hemlock forest, and trails that feel remote even on a weekend. Maple Sugaring Day adds a delicious reason to show up early in spring, with demonstrations that walk kids from tree tapping to the first warm pour.
Come prepared for muddy boots and cool air, then reward the crew with a lakeside stroll and wildlife watching as the park transitions from winter to spring. It’s equal parts nature lesson and snack break.
