From the Boardwalk rails, spectators track the action and keep the energy high from start to finish.

You will check in at 9th Street Beach, where heats typically begin around 8:00 AM. You can race solo or with a team, and the format works for a wide range of fitness levels, with military-style obstacles on the challenge course and a family-fun run for younger participants. Expect hydration points along both the 5K and obstacle routes, plus easy, free viewing from the Boardwalk if you are coming to watch.

Plan to arrive by 6:30 AM for bib pickup and parking, since nearby public lots can fill by mid-morning. Registration often starts around $25, with pricing and categories shifting year to year, and obstacle heats can sell out, so early sign-up helps.
