OktoberWest is Steamboat Springs’ signature fall festival, a vibrant celebration of craft beverages, local cuisine, and mountain culture with a German twist. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Werner and the Yampa River, this event offers families, couples, pet lovers, and friends a chance to create lasting memories together. The festival’s lively atmosphere, combined with the natural beauty of the area, makes it a must-visit destination for all.

Scheduled for September 5 and 6, 2026, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, OktoberWest kicks off on Friday with the annual Beer Stroll from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in downtown Steamboat. Participants can sample a variety of seasonal and local beers at participating restaurants, starting at Lucchese Boot Company. On Saturday, the main festivities move to the base of Steamboat Resort, where the OktoberWest Festival & Beer Garden will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. This segment of the event features over 20 breweries offering craft beer tastings, live music, great food, stein-holding contests, and the crafting of floral crowns. The day concludes with a VIP dinner from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
