East Oʻahu’s windward coast is at its most cinematic in March: trade winds, bright water, and—just offshore—migrating humpbacks. During spring break, Sea Life Park’s Whale Festival layers hands-on ocean learning over those views, with kid-friendly activities, marine talks, and plenty of time to roam exhibits between shows.Make it a full day on the Waimānalo shoreline: arrive at opening, explore the park’s animal habitats, then linger at the festival activations before detouring to nearby lookout points for one more sweep of Makapuʻu blue.
