TimberRidge’s annual Open House is the kind of all-ages outdoor sampler that makes spring break feel effortless. Families can rotate between archery and BB gun ranges, take a short hike, and then head to the renovated waterfront for paddle time and catch-and-release fishing.
Because it runs all day, you can go at your own pace: arrive early for quiet water, or show up later for the climbing tower window. If you want to stretch the outing into a weekend, book nearby lodging and add a lakeside picnic or sunset walk in Johnson County parks.
