Track wildlife signs and pioneer lore in Twin Falls
Spend a hands-on weekend learning tracking, nature skills, and Appalachian history at Twin Falls Resort State Park, with guided sessions indoors and out.
Event details
Spend early March in southern West Virginia’s wooded hollows learning how people once read the land. Twin Falls Resort State Park’s Tracking & Lore Workshop mixes outdoor walks with hands-on sessions that explore wildlife tracks, natural materials, and 18th-century frontier skills.
Between lessons, follow short trails to the park’s waterfalls and overlooks, then warm up back at the lodge for stories and demonstrations. It’s an easy add-on to a family cabin weekend in the mountains, with plenty of time left for hiking and stargazing.
