High-speed snowcross racing in the heart of town
Enjoy high-energy competition and big-event thrills in Deadwood in 2026—pair it with Mount Rushmore, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park.
Event details
The track at the Days of ’76 Event Complex carries a fitting nickname, the Bullring. At just 20 to 25 seconds per lap, it is the most compact course on the entire AMSOIL Championship Snocross national tour.
The tight configuration creates bar to bar racing where elbows stay up and first time winners are often made. Since launching more than a decade ago, Deadwood has produced breakthrough victories for riders such as Kody Kamm, Emil Harr, the 2024 Pro Points Champion, Jacob Yurk, and Malene Cottew, who claimed three Pro Women titles on this track.
Tucker Hibbert, widely regarded as the greatest rider in the sport with 138 career wins, earned his 100th victory on this very track in January 2015.
Two day VIP passes with reserved seating, pit access, and drink vouchers are priced at $185. General admission tickets cost $35 for Friday and $45 for Saturday, with children 12 and under admitted for $17.
Races begin at 6:00 PM both nights under the lights. On Saturday, arriving by mid afternoon is recommended to catch the Pro autograph session from 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
The reserved seating area features a Rally Happy Hour from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, offering dollar drinks and complimentary food.
Hotels fill quickly during Snocross weekend, so early booking is advised at properties such as the Deadwood Mountain Grand, the Rocksino by Hard Rock Deadwood, or the historic Bullock Hotel.
With more than 20 casinos and Main Street saloons within walking distance, post race entertainment is easy to find.
For water lovers planning a return trip, Pactola Lake is located about 20 minutes away and offers ice fishing in winter and kayaking across 800 acres in summer. Sheridan Lake features a full service marina with boat rentals along 7.5 miles of forested shoreline.
