This initial event includes check-in and registration from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by practice runs and the actual race. Later in the day, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, participants can check in for the Skills Clinics, which run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Athlete race check-in occurs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, setting the stage for the main racing events.

The main racing days unfold on Friday, August 8th, Saturday, August 9th, and Sunday, August 10th. Each day is divided into waves, with competitive racers starting in the first heat at 9:00 AM. The subsequent waves are at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM, with teams released every two minutes to avoid course backups. Friday is dedicated to racers aged 10-14, Saturday to those aged 8-11, and Sunday to the youngest participants, aged 6-9, as well as an open category.

The event takes place in the picturesque Vail Village, nestled in the heart of Vail, Colorado. Vail Village offers a stunning mountain setting, with easy access via the Eagle County Regional Airport or the Denver International Airport, followed by a scenic drive along Interstate 70. Local transportation and shuttle services are also available, making it convenient for attendees to reach the venue.
