The Vintage Seaplane Fly-In at Lake Mary Ronan, a cherished annual event that brings together families, friends, and aviation enthusiasts to celebrate the rich history of seaplane aviation amidst Montana’s breathtaking natural beauty, is not happening in 2026.
Set against the serene backdrop of Lake Mary Ronan, this event offered a unique opportunity to witness the graceful landings of vintage seaplanes on the lake’s calm waters. The surrounding forests and the stately lodge facilities created a picturesque setting that enhances the day’s festivities. Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including live music, kids’ games, artisan markets, and food trucks offering local delicacies. The event was free to attend, with donations appreciated to support the Montana Antique Aircraft Association’s annual aviation scholarship fund.
