Lake Quinsigamond is a 772-acre lake located in the Commonwealth state of Massachusetts, just east of the city of Worcester. Two state parks and several private marinas enhance boating, camping, fishing, wildlife viewing, and other visitor activities. Two large, public boat ramps located off North Quinsigamond Avenue and Route 20 yield lake access and parking.

The deep water of the narrow, northern end of the lake is a productive cold-water fishery, providing a popular habitat for salmon*, trout*, and rainbow smelt. By comparison, the wider and more shallow, southern end of the lake is the preferred home for largemouth bass, chain pickerel, yellow perch, white perch, bluegills, and pumpkinseeds. Panfish and pike can be found throughout the lake. Ice fisherman regularly find success with Northern Pike; although Lake Quinsigamond is one of the last lake’s in the region to produce safe ice. *Stocked
