Established in 1917, Bahrs Family has been serving the finest lobster on the east coast for over a century. Located at the entrance to Sandy Hook National Recreational Area in borough Highlands N.J. (not to be confused with Atlantic Highlands further west), we are one of the oldest restaurants in the United States, known for our LOBSTERS plus seafood dishes both cutting edge and traditional caught locally and sustainable, clams, oysters, scallops, steamers, flounder, monk fish as well as prime seafood from distant markets.
