The Beaver Island Municipal Dock is located on Paradise Bay right in the heart of downtown St. James, just a few minutes walk from many of Beaver Island’s most popular destinations. Open from May 1st until October 1st, the Municipal Dock has 25 slips, all with power and water. Bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities are available, and we are pet friendly!

Wooden pilings. Well maintained. Should be able to accomodate a 50′ vessel with a 14′ beam . Water depth on some of the docks is 8+ feet. All wood with aluminum ladders for getting off the boat. Current high water in Lake Michigan +32 inches, brings the deck level of most boat up to not need the ladders. Slips prices have been reduced to be equal to other state harbors in area, slightly less than Charlevoix and Mackinac Island. 2016
