Over time, we expect that it will grow into the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide for sailors to the coast of Massachusetts. The quality of the Guide depends on your contributions. If you have photos, good advice, local knowledge, or corrections, please use the comment form found at the bottom of each harbor page.Frostbite racing runs from November 9th through March 22nd in two series. We run races between 12pm and 3pm. Post race gathering in the Riverboat. You’ll find us out on day sails among the beautiful Boston Harbor islands, overnight trips to Marblehead and longer sails to destinations like Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard and Newport. The Center is open every day, 9am until sunset, during the regular season (early May through mid October). The regular season is when we host the majority of our adult sailing courses, run one design racing series on Solings, and allow our members unrestricted access to our fleet of 73 sailboats for daysails, overnights, and extended cruises. During the winter months we offer frostbite racing and navigation courses because we believe sailing should be a year-long hobby.Just a short walk north of Faneuil Hall Marketplace, our floating office and clubhouse is an excellent venue for member and student events, or a post-sail cocktail on our upper deck overlooking Boston Harbor. We’re also close to a wide variety of historical sites, restaurants and nighttime entertainment spots. Public parking is available nearby.
