They have a nice playground shaped like a boat, grill areas, a VFW style bar with pool tables and darts that’s open on the weekends, doc crawl events and other events, and they are making many more improvements. Parking is free and it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My family would love to come down just to cook out and enjoy being on the water We looked at all the marinas in the area. What we liked about Bowleys was the family atmosphere, the pool, the laundry room, clean bathrooms, the and neat/well kept grounds, onsite mechanic, and the clubhouse/bar that is open during the season.Bowleys has the “resort” feel at a competitive price. It is a gated marina which we liked for security, plus the marina manager lives on site and keeps an eye on everything.
