C. Springer Welding Works & Marina, situated at 5 Broadway in Albany, New York, has been a stalwart presence on the city’s waterfront since 1907. Founded by Charles Springer, a German immigrant, this marina has a rich history that spans over a century. After Springer’s unexpected passing, the marina was taken over by Louis A. Rizzo, followed by his son Louis V. Rizzo, ensuring a continuity of family leadership.

Today, the marina offers more than 50 boat slips and a boat launch, catering to the needs of seasonal and transient boaters alike.
