Camp Seafarer

YMCA Camp Sea Gull for boys and YMCA Camp Seafarer for girls are kindred, overnight camps located on the coast of North Carolina. Both camps have empowered youth to become confident leaders and responsible individuals for more than 75 years. Through hands-on experiences and skill building in various activities such as sailing and powerboating and through living in a cabin community with others, campers build resilience, independence and gain critical life skills.Serving campers and families from across the country and around the world, our programs emphasize character development, trying new things, goal setting, teamwork and problem solving, all while fostering lifelong friendships and unforgettable fun. With over 700 acres of waterfront access along the Neuse River, we offer a unique environment for campers to unplug from technology and form meaningful face-to-face connections with each other in one, two or four-week sessions.
