Cape Marina, situated at 800 Scallop Dr, Port Canaveral, FL, has been a cornerstone of the maritime community since its inception in September 1976. Founded by Gerald Seaman, a visionary with a Master’s degree in electrical engineering and business, this marina was one of the first and largest lease holders in the newly developed Port Canaveral. Starting with a modest beginning, Cape Marina has expanded over the years to span approximately 10 acres, boasting 115 wet dockage slips, 100 rentable mini-storage units, and a comprehensive active and inactive yard space with dry storage facilities.
The marina has continued to evolve, adding amenities such as a game room and a pool in 2011. Now in its third generation of family ownership, Cape Marina remains a testament to the American Dream, driven by the same passion and determination that guided its founder. It serves both recreational boaters and commercial fishermen, offering haul-out capabilities up to 75 tons and accommodating vessels from 15ft to 65ft. This marina is a focal point of Port Canaveral’s vibrant maritime landscape, blending tradition with modern amenities to provide an exceptional experience for its patrons.
