Easy deep water access as it’s on the Potomac just outside the channel. Lots of commercial tour boats and water taxis in this area that you must watch out for. You will need to wait if they’re coming out of the shared fairway. The current is moderate to strong on occasion out in the river and the north dock, but not at the south dock. T-heads have deep water. Inner slips will be 6’ or less at low tide

Notes

Power is generally limited to 1 30A/slip, with a few 50A plugs around. You might want to bring a 2-30 to 1-30 splitter. They do pumpouts year round for $20 for non-slip holders. $20 fee for 4 hours of short-term dockage if space is available, as of March 14, 2016. Recommend calling ahead to find out. T-heads are $3.00 per foot.
