Do not venture down the lake without local knowledge. Stay close to the docks when entering. It was reported at near low tide in March 2011, per the dockmaster that close to the docks means very close. Five or even four feet of water is within 50 feet of the ends of the docks. Do not cut the corner between the end of the first, longer dock and the second shorter dock; follow the lines of the docks and stay close to the T-heads. That will mean turning as if into the fairway after the long dock and turning again within a boat length or two to stay close but along the outside of the docks. There is a big current swirl between A and B docks that is strong enough to push a boat unexpectedly

They have a few ramps to use to get on and off the stern of your boat.B, C, and D docks have been rebuilt. They are adding a foot of concrete on top of the old docks and making the center one foot wider on each side, which shortens the already short finger piers. Fingers are 14-feet long and the outer pilings are another 15-feet out, for a 29-foot depth. This is short for the 45-footers they put in these slips. Fingers are 5-feet above the water at low tide and 3-feet at high tide, this can be a challenge for some boats. They did not upgrade the power, still only a single 30 amp outlet for each slip except the T-heads which have 50 amp. The prices do not include tax. If making a reservation, have a credit card handy.Off-season rates (June 1 – September 30): $1.16 per foot per day; $0.70 per foot for the month. For large boats, you must dock or stern-in, no finger piers.The monthly rate is from the first of the month to the first of the month, no just 30 days.
