In 2019, Mark Schulstad of “The Pocket Yacht Company” and Mike Weddell of “Seven Seas Yacht Services” came together to purchase the Marina formerly known as “Clarks Landing Marina”. The Kent Island Marina has since been renamed “Eastern Bay Yachting Center”.Our Marina is a full-service marina located on 2.5 acres with approximately 70 Slips. The property has 6,000 square feet of office and shop space. Our Marina provides boaters the opportunity to have the outstanding services of both companies.The Pocket Yacht Company, whose two main locations are in Grasonville, Maryland, and Jensen Beach, Florida, use Eastern Bay Yachting Center as a service and delivery center.Seven Seas Yacht Services, which was formerly based at Mears Point Marina in Grasonville, is a Volvo and Kohler Dealer that has relocated their services to Eastern Bay Yachting Center.”With the facilities, we are able to provide our customers with a one-stop service department to take care of all of their needs. The one goal we always keep in mind is – to keep our customers boating.” The total package of services that will now be offered at Eastern Bay Yachting Center include dockage and slips, land storage and haul out services. The facility also has full services available from boat repairs to complete engine service, canvas repairs, electronics, service/repairs and replacement, bottom paint, gel coat repairs and much more!
