Fairwind Yacht Club

Fairwind Yacht Club, established in 1966, is a nonprofit, family-oriented sailing association with a rich history rooted in the passion for sailing and community. Originally founded by employees of Hughes Aircraft Company, the club has evolved into an independent organization open to all who share a love for the sea. Located in Oxnard, California, and also in Marina del Rey, Fairwind Yacht Club offers its members year-round access to a fleet of sailboats, free training, and intermediate to advanced sailing education through its affiliation with the American Sailing Association.

The club’s mission is to provide low-cost access to sailing, fostering a sense of community among its members.
