Monty’s Bay Campsites was established as a sole proprietorship by Gerard and Sally Bechard in 1963. Today there are 125 campsites, a picnic area, convenience store, laundry facilities, activity center, bath house and a swimming pool. In 1991 Gilbert Brook Marina was added. The marina has 168 boat slips, 102 boat moorings and a boat ramp.
